This is something I painted in watercolor on a fairly small textured board, inspired by a similar watercolor of Sufi's twirling in a hall. I took one of the Sufi's in that hall and isolated him in my piece.
Islamic Devotional Art
I created this blog to keep tabs on those who have done devotional Islamic Art. Mainly those around the world who have created modern or classic paintings, sculptures, and calligraphy. I hope this blog will serve as a anthology of such art, preserving and cultivating art for modern times. If you feel there is a piece that would fit the category of Islamic devotional art please email me Sonny@StudioRendering.com and I can post it up.
